Allow me to introduce myself.
Hello, my name is Andrea and I am a woman with various interests who frequently lets on the impression that I know everything (but I don’t– shhh.) I am a master of “faking it until making it” which makes sense since I’ve been acting since 1998 and professionally since 2011. You may say acting is my real, true passion in life because when it comes to just being me– well, I’m still figuring that out. I am constantly figuring it out.
I’m never the same person I was a year ago and I can never tell if I’m ever going in the right direction. I’m a world traveller who is fortunate enough to frequent Taiwan, lived in Beijing for 6 years and have travelled to Thailand, Japan, and all across America. I graduated undergrad a semester early from Texas A&M and was the youngest of the first graduating class of a (then) newly-founded Masters program at University of Houston. Throughout my life, I have always been ahead of the curve and I should have it all figured out…but I don’t. I’m a jack-of-all-trades who has worked various jobs including food, retail, non-profit organizations, media/press, theatre/film, law, and now I am an English professor at a university. Believe it or not, I still don’t know what I’m doing or what my purpose is in this thing we call life. So I invite you inside my journey of finding myself, my passion, and my true purpose in life while sharing my ever-changing interests as I discover them. Complete and unfiltered.
